Was there contact before he crashed the car?

Re: Grealish
Grealish is "deeply ashamed", his lawyer, John Dye, said.

"Not just because reputationally this is problematic for him but he is genuinely sorry."

Really

Haha!
I can just see it. Another car passes him and gives the slightest of touches, or not even at all, and he starts screaming and drives straight into the nearest wall at high speed.

To have your Alice band slip and impede your eyesight twice whilst diving, sorry DRIVING is very bad luck......no wonder he now sports a shorter & more slick haircut.

You know when you fill in your earnings in the form you fill at the courts that they claim will come into consideration for the size of the personal fine.
Is 80k even 1 weeks wage for him?

Bet he's got designer alice bands and diamond encrusted eyelash plucking tools that cost as much.

I remember a £1,500+ fine and 30-60 day custodial sentence being pondered upon when me and my mates got done for throwing an orange at an unmarked police car and I was on a 70 squids per week apprenticeship one mate was on the governments £29 pw, in the very next courtroom a rustafarian gentleman was let off with an apology from the judge for beating into intensive care a shopkeeper who remonstrated with him for nicking a bottle of spirits from his store.

No justice no peas...

For one, in the UK they are called 'shops' and two there's probably a bit more to that story than either you're aware of or are telling us.

Nobody, no matter what colour (you'd probably spell that 'color') gets apologised to by a judge because he got caught stealing a bottle of booze and put the shopkeeper into intensive care.

That's just the kind of lazy lying shit that 'maybe rings true' to the hard of thinking and says more than you think about you and your views.

Villa we're throwing themselves all over the place again at the weekend, this time against wolves. One especially embarrassing moment, Grealish and Mcginn appeared to be doing synchronised diving, doing exactly the same diving pose in perfect unison.

Cunts.

I suspect this is G O's bad phrasing and that it was the "rustafarian gentleman" who apologised.

Well I guess if he's looking for a penalty all the got he's got to be pleased with an eighty grand one?

Sorry, it's what I wrote and what had happened, there were witnesses, friends I was with at the time roped into the farce, some still alive to verify.

In a completely unrelated incident:
A family member was witness to a murder in the reverse instance of shopkeeper besting a thief this time, the shopkeeper ran out the shop screaming at the white bastard, who from all accounts was a bit of a rough "white bastard" from reports to be fair, to the soon-to-be-murderer indian 'racist'[he probably wasn't racist really just angry with the white thief], who nicked a bottle of some other spirit [vodka? can't recall).
He came out the shop jumped into his van chased the man up the road and crossed over lanes to run him over, dead.

The judge profusely apologised to the man as he let him off with the murder
The broadsheet newspaper report included my family members name, misspelled fortunately perhaps, and address they lived at (for a murder case witness supposed to be under protection) detailing the full apology, due to being a hard working shopkeeper being mercilessly terrorised by alcoholic thieves.

Everything regarding your disbelief, betrays more about you than it could ever me for merely repeating the said facts of the events here.

Appreciate the incredulity as it highlights the fucking farce I was making the point of in the first place.

Sometimes I write British Home Stores when describing British Home Store, should I run it by you before stating that in future or are you gonna be all annoying and muffled while wearing that mask demanding I do random shit that makes no logical sense just to make you feel better?

Re: Grealish
There has been a bit of mutual back scratching going on here between prosecution and defence. Grealish was also charged with failing to stop/report an accident. That's an offence punishable by a fine or imprisonment, unlike careless driving (unlimited fine only). It looks as though he did stop briefly because a witness smelt alcohol on his breath, but he doesn't appear to have identifed himself as he has to. He pleaded not guilty to failing to stop, probably in order to negotiate pleas with the prosecution. In these Covid days of long trial waiting lists, the CPS would happy to accept a quick settlement rather than have a trial months down the line with (no doubt) some very highly paid defence lawyer demanding every last bit of irrelevant material in an attempt to create as much nuisance and time wasting as possible. That the way justice operates I'm afraid when a defendant is a multiple millionaire.
